The Who of Small Business Content Marketing
Here’s the question…
When putting together web content, social media content, blog content any other content marketing… the most important question is who?
“Who” is the answer to the question.
Who are you targeting?
Who is following you on Facebook?
Who is your audience?
Who is browsing your website and needs some information?
Frequently… we’ll coach clients on content marketing and website content. Or we’ll write content for our clients. But either way… the key consideration is “WHO?”
You have to really think about who you are selling to.
Speak their lingo.
Give them the information they need to make a decision about contacting you.
Empathize with them.
Really put yourself in their shoes.
When you do this and really think about “the who”… you’ll stand out from the crowded market of platitudes and self-serving content.
