Responsive Web Design Update
Back in the spring of 2013 I wrote an email newsletter about the “rumor” that Google will favor “Responsive Web Design” in search results.
Meaning… a positive ranking factor (in your favor) if your business website is built using responsive design. All things being equal… two properly optimized websites… if one is responsive and the other isn’t, the responsive one will rank better.
I remember that post because when I sent out the email I actually said … “Roomer” instead of “Rumor.”
OH… well. I’m only human.
But guess what… Roomers and Rumors aside.
It’s now happening!
This new “Google Rule’ will go into effect in April.
And guess what…
Google is already making note in search results which sites are responsive and which sites aren’t.

You can see… the “Mobile Friendly” message from Google!
We’ve been building responsive websites since early 2013.
Responsive Design basically means… “One website that looks great and displays well on all screens.”
Obviously… “Looks Great” is relative.
