New Iphone 6
It’s coming…
The new iPhone 6.
Two Larger screen options.
A few more bells and whistles, etc.
I’m a droid user so I don’t get too excited.
I have my eye on the new Galaxy Note 4.
But what’s interesting in all of this product launch hype is how the entire world has changed since the first iPhone came out back in 2007.
So many connected devices.
Easy access to the internet… to tons of information… consumers have access to your business and your competition.
Overall web traffic increased by 93% in just three years. All because of mobile devices.
We see, on average… between 12% and as high as 40% of our clients’ web traffic coming from mobile.
There are a lot of smartphones out there.
71% of adults – ages 18+ have smartphones.
The bulk are from ages 18 to 64. Those over 65 have the least amount of smartphone users as a total percentage.
Mobile Apps are consuming tons of attention and the most time among smartphone actions.
Two fronts of mobile marketing…
The first front of mobile marketing is a “responsive website.” That’s a website that shows well on every screen.
The second front – Mobile Apps…
Apps are not right for every biz… but… if boosting engagement, repeat business, easy communication and referrals is a goal… Mobile Apps can be a good thing.
This week’s iPhone event is just another page turn in the thick book that is mobile.
I look forward to seeing what Apple has in store for us.
