I really love the one that goes something like…

“Nobody goes there anymore, it’s too crowded.”

And … really, the above quote has nothing to do with it – but when I read some recent Mobile App stats I was reminded of that quote.

The stats showed… how, overall, most smartphone users don’t really download that many apps.

And it makes sense.

Most use the apps that are pre-loaded on their phones…e-mail, Facebook, a few news sources, entertainment, etc.

Most smartphone owners are pretty happy with their apps.

On one side of the coin… you have the idea of…

“See, why bother putting an app together for my business?”

I guess if your mind is closed and you read the stats I read… you’d be right.

However… when something seems to make “perfect sense” – that’s when you should take another look.

Think about it…

Most apps in use are from the big dogs… Google, Facebook, Netflix, Weather… yada… yada.
