Content Marketing Demand and Small Business

Content Marketing Demand?

A few things lately have been put out there about content marketing and social media.

We’ll make sense of some of the madness.

There has been a rise in people declaring themselves “Social Media Experts.”

And this makes sense because there has also been a demand for this skill set.

Bigger organizations are hiring social media managers internally.

They are tasked with managing Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, G+, Youtube, etc.

Smaller companies are looking to bring on outside firms to help.

And when it comes to smaller companies and social media the main thing to remember is never to outsource 100% of your social media content.

The best social media content always comes from inside the business.

Strategy is key. Knowing “Why” you are using a specific social media platform in the first place.

Being where your prospects are.

For BTC – we have found Facebook to be the king and queen.

For BTB – pay attention to new developments with LinkedIn.

Others…  explore ‘em.

BTW… Snapchat just surpassed Twitter when it comes to usage among millennials.

That’s why Facebook wanted to buy them.

But Facebook is still top-dog, even among those millennials.

And… Always… Always… Add content to your website. The news and blog section of your site is becoming more valuable by the day.

Have fun!
