Stories from Early Days of Business

When we begin working with a client for brand new web builds or web redesigns we ask several questions as part of our on-boarding process.

One of the questions…

“Any interesting stories about how the business started or from the early days of the business?”

Knowing some history helps us a great deal that’s why we ask these questions.

We always take special note of these answers.

A couple of my favorites…

  • A business owner who hocked her wedding ring after her divorce to start her business.
  • A Martial Arts school owner who got his start later in life after being parent where his son took classes. The son’s instructor simply handed him a GI and said “Get in class.”
  • A “freshly-minted” septic company owner emptying his first tank and not realizing there are certain spots you can’t stand while performing this task. His words… “Luckily it was our own septic tank I was emptying.” (let your imagination run wild on that one)
  • And so many more fun and authentic stories that come from the heart.

I’d love to hear the stories from the early days of your business sometime soon!
