RadioShack Deflated Super Bowl Ad Lesson

Why not work “Deflate Gate” and Super Bowl ads in this week?

What great fodder for this blogger!

Here we go.

Last year, RadioShack, tried to revive their business.

They bet big on a Super Bowl ad that was an epic fail.

It was the one about… “The 1980’s wanting their store back.”

It didn’t help.

We won’t go into the fundamentals that led to their current issues.

This lesson is not that complex.

The take-away.

There is never ONE magic marketing bullet that will bring in the thundering herds.

There is never just ONE thing – that will change everything dramatically.

Sure… ONE thing might be the final tipping point.

But that ONE thing will be final result of everything coming together.

So just remember… don’t count on any ONE thing.

Needless to say… RadioShack was deflated by counting on this one Super Bowl Ad to turn things around.
