Google’s Latest Change & What it means

I got word of this a few weeks ago.

My buddy Kyle, at NH Strategic Marketing reminded me about this Friday morning.

Here’s Google’s change…

When you search on a desktop you will no longer see the ads on the side of the page.

Just the center. I pasted an image in below.

This means less ads on the page.

It also means Google’s goal is to have a consistent experience between mobile search and desktop search.

AND…

IF you’re running Adwords – you better be sharp to snag one of those few spots on page one. I know that’s where Kyle’s team can help you for sure.

As far as “Organic Search”… what we do among a few other things… Not much has changed since the last tweak Google made.

A new update for us though…

Our ranking reports… where we can see exactly where your business stands in search… now show mobile rankings in a separate category.
