Flip the Switch for Change

November 29, 2015
Mike Dolpies

Down to the wire. Then end of 2015.

So much will stay the same. So much will change.

As you think about the upcoming year and what you want to accomplish, here’s an idea.

Every goal is based on giving something up to reach the goal.

Easy example. If someone wants to lose weight they need to give up certain foods or certain quantities of food. They need to give up being inactive too much throughout the day.

With any business goal… What do we have to give up to achieve the goal?

All goals are reached when change is made.

At times, change happens slowly. Slow change could be good. (Usually not though)

Other times, change can happen in an instant.  Almost as if a switch has been flipped.

Sometimes the switch is flipped by factors you can’t control. These changes look like obstacles.

When the switch is flipped on you – it’s your time to step up.

The switch can be flipped by you too.

You can make changes in an instant. Your choice.

Enjoy the last month of the year.

Get some stuff done!

WOW… mobile shopping kicked butt this past weekend!

People buying gifts through nice “responsive design” websites and native mobile apps.

These stats reflect predictions that have been made over the past several years.

Most of our clients do not “sell stuff” online, but the same rules apply.  We track numerous stats for our clients – and right now we are seeing 20% to 50+% of traffic coming via smartphones (depending on the industry).

2016 will be the year when we begin to get a taste of the next version of the internet…

Virtual Reality. Both Augmented and Emersion. It’s coming.
