The key factor is that just about every use of a smartphone is usually done as part of multi-tasking.
I have been saying for almost three years now – the “context” of the mobile experience is key!

Less words. Different Navigation structure. And be careful about the size of images that can bog down the speed. Depending on your connection you can feel like you’re back in 1995 because things still move slower on mobile.
