Here in NH I’ve been thinking of a line by Bill Murray in the hit, Groundhog Day…

“I’ll give you a winter prediction… It’s going to be cold, it’s going to be grey and it’s going to last you for the rest of your life.”

OK… Cheer Up! We have a month to go!

Onward…

I want to talk about LinkedIn real quick.

Yours truly is no LinkedIn “expurt.”

When anyone asks me about LinkedIn… I tell them…

“Beyond having a half-decent profile and playing around with LinkedIn ads a little, I am not the guy to turn to.”

They appreciate my candor.

But, who knows… that might change.

See… LinkedIn, in a effort to get users more engaged, is going to allow you… yes… you… to be a LinkedIn Influencer.

Up until now this prestigious title has been reserved for the Richard Bransons of the world.

You might want to be on the lookout and check it out.

What it basically means is you’ll have the chance to publish long-form content on LinkedIn for your network to consume.

If your network likes it… you might end up being able to tap the larger network.

In other social media news…

Facebook picked up messaging app “What’s App” for a crazy sum.

Talk to you soon… Influencer
