The Snooze List and Your Business

An ongoing joke I have with my wife…

“When one grocery list ends another begins.”

This happens because of the frequency at which we run out of food and supplies around the house.

But I’m guilty. I always forget something if I’m the one who goes to the store.

Grocery Lists… one of life’s little pleasantries.

Think about this though…

More people put greater amounts of thought energy into grocery lists than they do…

Daily work to-do lists, goal lists and other important lists.

I encourage you to make lists daily of what you want to accomplish in your business.

There’s another list that gets created along the way.

I call it the “Snooze List.”

This is a list of important ideas – that for some reason you just decided to press the snooze button on.

In the morning  – we must avoid the snooze button. Put your electronic rooster out of reach so you have to get out of bed to turn it off.

What is the snooze list?

This list is made up of those ideas and things you know you must do for your business – but for some reason they went un-done on the main “to-do list.” So they ended up on the “Snooze List.”

You and I need to make the list and then choose not to snooze!

Let’s dig in there and get these things done.

The dangerous part about the “snooze list”…

Many of the items on the list will actually propel your business forward if you just get them done.

Have a great – week!
